The Partners in Planning Series

Planning is a team sport. Most advisors are playing one-on-one.

The Partners in Planning Series is a set of short, practical sessions to build your team’s expertise in areas where our work intersects, helping identify mutual opportunities and deliver more coordinated advice to clients.

Why we do this

We want to know you.

We work with business owners and families whose financial affairs often involve companies, family trusts, and complex estate structures. Advising them requires close collaboration with their accountants and lawyers. We would rather build those relationships proactively than meet for the first time over email a week before a deadline.

That philosophy of collaboration is built into our firm and how we serve our clients.

Our mission

To simplify the lives of successful Canadians through the seamless integration of portfolio management, planning, and professionals.

Questions partners ask

What does it cost?

Nothing. We bring the content and the cards. We are happy to provide lunch, or coffee and pastries, depending on the time of day.

Who should attend?

Partners, managers and senior staff who work with owner-managed businesses. Sessions work best for five to twenty people.

How do we work together on a shared client?

Only with a client you introduce, and only with their consent. We do the analysis, you see it before the client does, and you deliver the recommendation.

Can we suggest a topic?

Please do. Several sessions in the series started as a partner's question.
